- The patient should not drive a vehicle or operate any machinery for 24 hours following the anesthesia experience.
- Please wear loose fitting clothing with sleeves which can be rolled up past the elbow, and low-heeled shoes.
- Contact lenses, jewelry, and dentures must be removed at the time of surgery.
- Do not wear lipstick, excessive makeup, or nail polish on the day of surgery.
- If you have an illness such as a cold, sore throat, stomach or bowel upset, please notify the office.
- If you take routine oral medications, please check with Dr. Merlo prior to your surgical date for instructions.

What are others saying about us?
"Our third experience with Dr Merlo and couldn’t recommend him and his staff enough! Very professional, attentive and caring to a scared 10 year old ( 8 years old the first time around) who needed 6 baby teeth pulled out, each time. Everything went swimmingly! Don’t hesitate to go there!"

"Dr Merlo and his staff are fabulous. Punctual, courteous, and helpful. I live a good distance from his Maryland office, but the trek is well worth it. Highly recommended."
