Cornectomy
Remove Crown of Wisdom Tooth
In cases where the lower wisdom tooth is unusually close to the nerve that gives feeling to the lower lip, chin and teeth, a coronectomy may be indicated. The crown (top portion of the tooth) is surgically removed and the roots are left behind to avoid damage to the nerve.

What are others saying about us?
"Our third experience with Dr Merlo and couldn’t recommend him and his staff enough! Very professional, attentive and caring to a scared 10 year old ( 8 years old the first time around) who needed 6 baby teeth pulled out, each time. Everything went swimmingly! Don’t hesitate to go there!"

"Dr Merlo and his staff are fabulous. Punctual, courteous, and helpful. I live a good distance from his Maryland office, but the trek is well worth it. Highly recommended."
